From the tackle I’ve seen online the player spins on impact and Ellis is behind him. The player keeps backing into Ellis and Ellis takes him to the floor and get up. The neck does bend.

It’s time the clubs took some form of legal action.

We need to challenge that decision there is nothing in it.

Definitely there were more tackles in the game worse than that how Tomkins got off beggars belief he deliberately lifted his knee up .

Another example of how messed up it all is. Sam Tomkins is a Wigan legend and I’d prefer him to avoid bans if possible but how can you get away with that? When players are being banned for all sorts of nothing.

I noticed it during the game.

It was basically a crusher tackle, however as others have pointed out the Catalans player turned and backed into him.

I’m all for outlawing such tackles however the ball carrier has to carry some weight of responsibility for their own protection. The burden cannot all be on the defender if an attacking player is will fully putting themselves in a precarious position in order to get a competitive advantage, trying to offload in this case.

The club have said they will appeal the decision. Good for them.
I hope their appeal is successful.

Should’ve appealed his last one but glad to see we’re not just rolling over. It’s getting beyond a joke with Ellis.
