| I for one was not a fan of the signing.
I really didn’t want him at the club.
I have to say though this season he has been immense.
He may not have the flair or pace he used to have but his toughness, desire and refusal to lose is unbelievable.
2 things I can’t believe I’m about to say~
1. I believe he could be a very good captain of this club when Locky hangs up the boots.
2. I’d like to see him move into the pack next season as I think he could be outstanding there.

| Great tonight and I’m pleased for him. I didn’t want us to touch him but the biggest surprise has been just what a decent lad he seems. He’s been an idiot in his tome and he might be again but I don’t believe that’s come from him being a bad person, certainly not from what we’ve seen.
In terms of talk of the pack, I can see what you’re saying and it may go that way in the future as he gets older but I think he’s got enough legs just yet. I actually did think during the game that one of our backs may need a move in to the pack tonight but it wasn’t Hardaker. I think Dom Manfredi May start moving in at some point. He’s had his best game of the season tonight but his pace has clearly gone and he’s another with a big frame, aggression and a great attitude that could be used in the pack to help him extend his career and keep a place in the side.

| Superb game tonight. Glad we're all on the same page on this. Bateman-type performance. Never a step back, never-say-die attitude. Great game from him.

He reminds me now of Murphy who was at Hudds who moved into the pack and despite his size was still effective. It’s sad that Dom’s speed has suffered but I’m glad he’s back looking like he wants to put himself about.

| He was excellent tonight particularly in the second have. Made some good breaks from our own half which relieved the pressure and put us on the front foot. Think he would go well at loose forward.

| For me if we could offload Greenwood (who I really don’t rate) replace him with Hardaker and bring in a natural centre I think that would be a great move.

| Credit where it is due, he was my MOM tonight. I thought he turned the game for us with some of set starts but also he was clearly encouraging others.

| He was awesome tonight. The effort is always there, tonight he looked dangerous. His step was back, and whilst he won't get the speed back from 5 years ago, he looked far sharper and beating people with ease at times.

| I quite like him at centre and back row is our strongest position, it certainly will be next season with Bateman back so for me I’m happy with him in the backs.

Greenwood was in pure Greenwood mode tonight. Runs good lines, scores a try, looks a handful when he’s got the ball but constantly waiving his hands at players in defence, no aggression whatsoever and went down with 2 or 3 different knocks. The cut to his head was a bad knock and he wouldn’t be allowed to carry on regardless but he’s never the type who battles with the physios to stay on the field. He looked more than happy to get off. You compare that to the bang James Graham took against us and he just gets patched up on Sky’s time and cracks on.
It feels harsh bagging Greenwood for that and I actually thought he played pretty well but he’s just so frustrating because he’s a man mountain but ‘if only’ always runs through your mind with him.
