Its an opinion piece written for clicks. Rumours from where, or from who? I wouldn't really give it the time of day. "But it also makes the whole of rugby league look shoddy" a bit of OTT hyperbole. I tend to agree with Pemps, it looks like its just a rant written on forums.

The article gives no substance to us being up for sale but it wouldn’t surprise me if IL is starting to get the club prepped up to sell in the next few years.
He will need to demonstrate to any prospective buyers that we can turn a profit, so I’d guess that’s where the penny pinching might be coming from. Rather than simply “IL is skint maate”.
He’s had a good decade and could flog EHR for a handy return to a construction company.
