I’d go with that. We need Bateman in the middle of the action rattling people and setting the tone.
Fingers crossed Sarginson is fit so we have that option.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| Will take an enormous effort just to keep close to them, we’ve too much class missing.

Too little pace in the halves if we go with Woods and Powell IMO.

I don't know - Iv seen worse Wigan teams beat better Saints teams. At least we can put out a pack of regular first teamers. They're heavy favourites but if we keep the mistakes and penalties to a minimum we've got a chance. They'll probably get us out wide in the end but you never know.

I know, and on those occasions it was an enormous Wigan effort that won it! Not saying we can’t win, course we can. I agree it’s on the flanks they’ll hurt us.

Although I do not like losing to Saints it would be better than losing to the teams just below us again. We do what we can tomorrow and see who is avaliable for the next game. In some ways a perfect place to throw the new lad in because we have low expectations of the game. Just hope that he does not become the whipping boy.

| Just watched the pre-game interviews on Wigan TV and Powell hasn’t trained at all this week. He’s spent time with the Physio and should be ok to play. Without Lockers, Williams, Burgess, Gildart, Sutton and Farrell who are all nailed on 1st choice 17 players it’s a huge task ahead. Saints are flying and their bubble needs bursting and quick!
Not sure if anybody has saw this, but if Saints get more points than Hull this weekend they have already secured a place in the semi finals. This is a phenomenal stat when we haven’t even got to the Super 8s so fair play to them.
Would be fantastic to burst that bubble tomorrow but as much as I’d love it, I can’t see anything but a comfortable Saints win. Hope I’m wrong!!

| I’m confident we’ll go pretty close. I’m sure Wane will have them fired up and as good as Saints have been they aren’t unbeatable by any stretch. They like Cas last year have pulled well clear at the top but I don’t think they’ve been anything like as impressive as Cas as a team and have had to dig out more wins they did.

Hope you are right but I can only see a drubbing on the cards tonight.
The centres and halves look particularly slow and very much untested re the new lad.
Saints have a very good defence and I just cant see us crossing the whitewash enough times to get even close to them. I never ever want to get beaten by the Saints but if we can keep the difference under 20 I will be pretty surprised
As I say hope you are right and I am wrong yet again!

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |
