As usual, no indication whether two contracted players have left for a transfer fee, or whether we've paid them to leave.

Sounds like they've both left on frees to get them off the cap and sign elsewhere.

Tierney is a pretty good winger, the right decision though. At his age he needs to be somewhere where he is first choice

Gregson has tweeted saying it’s pretty much due to playing time.

A shame we can’t guarantee him a bunch of games next year when he showed good promise last year in the halves and second row.

Tierney I think we just wish well and thank him for his efforts. He needs to play and there is little chance of that here.

In regards to Gregson, I think I'd have liked to see more of him before we let him go. He's clearly got some talent but he's been unlucky with injuries.

Don’t blame him whatsoever.

I never really saw much in Gregson that said he was ever going to be an automatic choice, I know I will be in the majority, he just never seemed that good in any particular area, he could just do the basics in several if them.

Tierney was just too far down the pecking order, his brain darts just seemed to outweigh his good stuff. If Naverette goes and FPN, that frees up some space.

Dammit.

Was hoping with Tierney recently signing iL may have been open to an offer for either marshall or maybe manfredi to free up space!!

I kind of feel sorry for Tierney because he never lacks effort.
But he still has a Super League Grand Final winners ring, and nobody can take that away from him.

Tierney played his part in GF and WCC wins. Decent on the wing but never good enough to be full back at Wigan. Surpassed by the young lads on the wing. Good move for him though.

Little disappointed we've let Gregson go, saw him potential playing loose forward in a few years time. Always done a good for us when needed, even playing 6 a lot in 2016. He'll be a superleague regular I'm sure in the coming years

Why should the details of any contract between the players and the club be broadcast to all?

Agreed regarding Gregson. Realistically he would be at least three injuries away from a game in either position, with Wells, Field and maybe Hamlin ahead of him in the back row, and Shorrocks and Powell ahead of him in the halves. Not a position you want to be in at the age of 22.
