Apparently a few Wigan fans have been caught up on the receiving end of verbal and physical abuse from the bad apples of super league Warrington Wolves. That club have ALWAYS had fans that only want to abuse other supporters. This is not the first time this side have had fans ejected for fighting. I thing a couple of points deduction wouls be of great help.

Nothing really to see here. Reminiscent of Bill Ashurt's Wigan in the 70s, Ellery Hanley's Wigan in the 80s, Andy Farrell's Wigan in the 90s. We turn up and dump them, and their sh##thead element decide that it's better the press talk about crowd trouble than what a tanking their team got.

It's the oldest Wire trick in the book. It sometimes works, but fortunately it's early season and by midsummer, when they are REALLY in trouble - it will seem very unimportant.

I had to laugh when the Wire players were trying to calm their fans down and Tommy Leuluai was trying to calm ours down only for Sam Powell to run over swinging his arms and whipping the crowd up like he'd won the World Cup!

Good on ya Sam! Why shouldn't we celebrate a good win even if it upsets the small band of Wire knuckle draggers in the corner.

A bit worrying that there is zero mention of the crowd trouble on the Warrington RL Fans forum. Total ignorance and not encouraging.

If there is trouble at our matches (let's face it every club has a small troublesome element) then there seems to be widespread discussion and condemnation. It is only in this way that the troublemakers can be named and addressed. Wire are building a reputation for trouble and many of their fans just seem to turn a blind eye. This needs to be stamped on pretty quickly because not only is it negative for the Wire club it is bad for the game as a whole.

not the first time wire 'fans' have caused trouble after losing, hung around a good 15 minutes waiting for fc fans after fc beat them last season! one dumb wire lost his wallet with driving licence whilst causing trouble and was shamed on twitter!

They seem to be more exercised shouting for TS' head than anything else. Their board appears to be in need of a dose of Adaptil

The big problem, as always, is who would they replace him with?

Tony Smith has a better record than many in SL, and it's highly unlikely anyone from Aus would come over mid-season.

Unless, of course, they fancy a straight swap with Kieron.

Believe it or not, a Saints fan of my acquaintance is already talking about this as if it's an actual possibility. Somehow I can't see many Wire fans sharing that enthusiasm.

Thats because the majority of the crowd saw nothing. ..I saw nothing in the ground or on the way home. I Saw a video on Facebook of goons in our southwest section pushing and shoving but a young girl steward seemed to have it under control then a few Wigan goons came to the front of the west stand giving it the come and have a go arm waving. .again dealt with by stewards. ...

We have bigger issues to worry about than a few inbreds. .....
