| Think he might be available soon after Souths 4-54 defeat this morning.
Not sure whether hes lost the dressing room or the whole ground floor there.

| There's been a few people on here wishing for Madge to come back and I too would welcome such a move. However, if we were to tempt an Aussie coach over I'd be smashing the door down to get Trent Robinson. His days might be numbered at the Roosters after the season they've had but he'd be an unbelievable appointment for us. He's got Superleague experience too! If anybody needs to be convinced just watch his touch screen analysis after the WCC game with Saints. Masterful!! I don't think it'll happen but there's no harm in trying!

| I don't want Maguire back, I want a coach who is passionate, loyal and honest.
Shaun Wane is the only man for the job, do not lose faith.

| Madge's style of rugby is even more joyless than Wane's. The South players look sick of all the predictable block- plays and poor Joe Burgess has barely received a pass since joining weeks ago. Madge made a great impact first time round at Wigan but it would be a big mistake to go back to him again.

If the roosters got rid of Trent Robinson that would be harsh and a stupid decision. Roosters will be fine next year and back challenging at the top.
I believe he will return to Catalan if he ever decides to come back. He loved it at Catalan and left with unfinished business.

That is a bit like the Labour Party having Corbyn as leader. No one doubts his passion etc but it will take a miracle to win anything with him in charge.

| I don't want Maguire back. It didn't work for John Monie and I don't think it would work for Madge. New broom required!

I agree. Maguire was great at the time and was just what we needed.
We do need fresh blood soon and maybe dip back into the NRL market again!

There's an assistant coach at Newcastle who people are raving about and he was rumoured to be the favourite for the Huddersfield job but surprisingly Stone took that on.
IIRC his names Griffin. He would seem the sort of guy the club may go for if they decide the times right for a change.

Anthony Griffin was the incumbent Brisbane Broncos coach when he was shafted by the club when they brought Wayne Bennett back to the club

Not sure if that's the same bloke. This guy was being raved about by Phil Clarke in a piece on the Sky Website. They had him responsible for producing a number of promising players through the Knights u20's team.
