After a poor Spring for knocks and suspensions, is the light at the end of the tunnel sunshine or is it the London express ? Things look to be shaping up for a Super 8s where players will be returning and looking to get match fitness back and competing for starting places.

Gelling - back in full training Aug
Faz - ??? I assume the same timelines as Clubb/Gelling ??

Frank-Paul Nuuausala - mid July ??? how long does a visa take to arrange ?

Updates from today's press conference-

Farrell is 6 weeks off (sure he was 6 weeks off 6 weeks ago)

Gelling is 4 weeks off

Clubb is out 'long term' (not sure what that means)

Joel is out of the Catalans game

Frank Paul Nuuausala should be available in two weeks.

Hasn't Clubb only just had his operation? Doubt we will see him again this season.

Gelling is a frustrating one as he seemed to play one game miss a few and never got going.
Farrell hasn't played since getting binned & banned.

Bateman and big Frank should give us some beef in the absence of the above.

I think if we can stave off further injuries between now and the end of the season then I'm quietly confident we can do something.

The delay with Faz was caused by the uncertainty of whether to opt for surgery. Now he's had it all sorted, I think it might be more 4-5 weeks.

Hope Crosby is back soon as well.

Update from today's press conference noted on Twitter-

Joel Tomkins having his knee scanned and could be out for a long time.

Crosby back in two weeks

Gelling back in three weeks

Faz back in four weeks

Clubb back in 10 weeks (which will be right at the back end of the super 8's)

Kyle Shelford and McCauley Davies could make debuts this week.

Be interested to see how Shelford and Davies go.

Don't want to be unkind but I really don't think think JT is much of a loss these days. The others, though, ASAP please!

John Bateman also back with the team this week and available for selection against St Helens.

Joel gets alot of stick for his form this year but his knee has been an issue and needs an op, being playing through pain cause we're low on numbers. Maybe its got too bad.

Do you think that Joe will play again going off the last statement from the club.

Not really. In fact I don't believe he has been 100% fit all year. Best to do what is needed now, and give him as long as possible for next year.
When faz & Bateman are back, we will have the depth to cover the playoffs.
Let's get him fit for 2017.
