| Well looks like our unprecedented injury crisis this season will continue. As well as the half a dozen currently out we alos picked up a few more tonight.
Heard that Charnley's injury is a bad one and he could have played his last game for us
Sam Tomkins also picked up an injury at the end apparently.

| Hull fan in peace! From your strongest 17 who's missing at the moment for you guys? Lots of teams seem to be having injury issues but you guys seem to have had once since we played you at our place!

| Only 4 but some quality there. Guessing McIlorum is the biggest loss and the one effecting performances the most? Always hated him (which obviously means I quite rate him)

None of those guys would have made any difference to our performance last night. I'd take Houghton 9 times out of 10 before MM who hasn't had a decent game for over 2 years and has become less and less effectual there more effeminate our pack becomes.
We are tailor made for yourselves, Wire and Catalan. A soft underbelly with no bant or bottle.
If we meet again this season particularly at your place you could knock up a cricket score if you keep your foot on the pedal.
I think it's you or Wire this season.
Personally I'm glad we have a strong a hull team back in the competition.

| Tomkins dead leg but will be fine for next week
Gelling had a slight pec strain and could be OK for next week and Flower should be back according to Wane post match.
Hopefully Charnley will pull up ok and Clubb's hand injury isn't too serious. We can't ever again afford to start two mard ar*es like Mossop and Crosby. Along with Joel Tomkins I thought all three were disgraceful last night and that's from somebody who will back any Wigan player given half an opportunity to do so.

Nicky I love this club and my rants aren't because I want a pop at players or coaches it's because it hurts me that we have fallen so quickly in quality and more disappoiningly the honesty in the club is non existent. If anyone at the club thinks that last nights turgid and dishonest display warrants any support they are totally deluded.
I've seen worse teams than present but I honestly don't think I have ever seen a softer, unfit and faceless bunch as these guys are. At least when we got relegated we had lads who could handle themselves if it got a bit tasty this lot disappear out of site. Last night if SW had any balls he would have hooked Mossop and Crosby off in the first 15 minutes and told them to get changed. They are both out of their depth and frankly both looked like kids playing against men. JT is a shell of the player he was in 2010 and has been found out by opposing forwards now in that he is a chinless wonder and he can't break wind let break the line. He must be the worst use of a high salary in the whole of SL.
I've supported the club for 50 years and this is the only time in that period when I don't look forward to a game and I don't actually want to go to the match.

This sums my thoughts up. I don't watch hoping we win, I watch it hoping to see some good rugby league that results in a win. If IL is buying the excuses that SW is peddling to the press every week then he's the root cause of our issues. If we want to see it, change needs to start at the top, if IL can't see what's in front of him then nothing will change.
There needs to be a major turn around before the end of the season, that squad has to look like a cohesive well drilled team, if not, SW and ultimately IL are to blame. If we get to the end of the season and nothing has changed, simple fact is that the team is limited, that's either because recruitment / promotion from the academy has been poor, which is Wanes fault, or the team has been poorly coached, again this is Wanes fault. What we then need is IL to do his job and say thank you, but we need to change what we are doing.
What I would sooner see is Wane admit his mistakes, admit things aren't working, admit he's letting the players and fans down and then change things, get in a new assistant and get some help and new structures in place.

Chris there is more chance of me getting a ST at Saints than SW asking for help.
Intrinsically I'm a SW fan because he loves the club however, the last 2 years have been torture and I want it to end.
IL also needs to bullet KR whose input to signings has been beyond the pale in its ineptitude

You don't have to convince me, I've been of the same mindset for this and most of last season. I've no idea whats being coached, it's either inadequate, the players don't agree with it, or they're not doing as instructed. Either way it's coaches responsibility to get the team performing to their potential, we are aren't even close and haven't been for a few years now.

| Hull and Cas have been a breath of fresh air for me the way they have been playing Rugby League, big forwards who create the space for their classy half backs, our forwards couldn't burst a paper bag at present, just hope Leeds don't register a long awaited win against us at Newcastle.

If Leeds turn up and play anything like a team they will beat us.
We can't make any ground because apart from Bateman we have no other forward who can get over the advantage line. We have one player in Isa who hasn't made one break all season which must be some kind of unfortunate record. If Leeds tighten up their defence and knock us about a bit they just need to wait for us to make our usual mistakes and the tries will come.
The problem is that we have no forwards bar Bateman who may have to play centre again and Clubb who though shows plenty of effort just isn't fit enough to be regarded as top class but is the best of the rest.
The rest of the forwards are useless and unfit which means we have to play a young kid in Sutton week in week out when he should be developed gradually but SW has no other options.
If Flower returns he can't do more than 15 minutes and to be honest has done nothing since 2014 which is probably karma.
We have zero go forward which means we are easy meat for any pack who are determined to get on top of us that's why I think we are so rank bad.
Crosby, Mossop and JT are deserters and once you have done that you are always liable to do it again as soon as the going gets tough.
Basically we have a spineless pack that can be turned over with ease if the opposition pack decide to turn up.
