We have just beaten Saints on good friday in one of the toughest games in a long time.

Both teams were terrible in attack for the most part, but the intensity of the defenses was superb.

Christ almighty - we won well today but it was a rough, tough game. If we're e on Monday and lose then have a go. This was a very Good Friday win for us given our poor start to the season.

If Bentham had of refereed the match properly things would have been different, I would love to have seen 10 metres. Bad pitch bad referee equals rubbish attack

Very enjoyable game, we huffed and puffed but just didn't have any smarts on the pitch and it cost us in the end.

I can't quite believe that this thread exists... Saints have proven to have a brilliant defence this year which and will give penalty after penalty to avoid conceding a point although clearly these were not going to be forthcoming with Bentham yesterday.

But... apparently it's Wigan's attack at fault.

We did however manage to make a mess of "the move" out to the wings, the timing wasn't quite there.
