I've seen many an indiscretion over the countless years I've been watching Rugby League but that second punch on Lance Hohaia is one of the most cowardly cheap-shots I've ever seen. Flower had poleaxed Hohaia with his first punch which was a bit OTT but I can see why he lashed out. The second punch was nothing but sear stupidity and the act of a coward in the first degree.

I don't see why he lashed out in the first place. There wasn't Mitch in the collision with hohia (unless I missed something).
I've no idea what came over him. What I do have an idea of is he will be feeling pretty awful at them moment. He owes his team mates, Wigan fans and LH one hell of an apology.

There was hardy anything in what Hohaia did. It would have been penalty sufficient.
A shove back from Flower would have been appropriate, not smacking him in the face and then again when the guy is already out cold on the floor.
Absolute disgraceful and nothing would please me more than Wigan to go on and lose (which to be fair, doesn't look like happening) and Flower never playing rugby again (and maybe getting a punch of his own on the way home).
