| Interesting that none of our boys are amongst the current favorites. Theories? Mine is that we are still quite happily flying under the radar.
Current odds:
Luke Walsh 2
Jamie Peacock 5
Kevin Brown 8
James Roby 9
Daryl Clark 12
Justin Carney 12
Zak Hardaker 14

| Maybe because we haven't really had a settled obvious starting 17 with the injuries & rotation. Anyway my money went on Peacock at the start of the season.

| Lockers would have walked it had he managed to stay fit but as it stands Walsh is the rightful favourite and Peacock deserves a mention.

No he isn't. Nor is Bateman. He could be ypoty but has tough competition from Burgess just at Wigan.
Not sure about Walsh especially after Saints recent wobble, he has been good though. I'd lean more towards Hardaker at the moment.
I really hope Lockers can put a run of games together. He must have been close last year and really deserves it. He's clearly the best player in the league for me.

| I got Walsh at 50-1 before the start of the season, reasonably confident but i think Peacock is ahead of him so far

| Shocked that Walsh is still favourite. Saints have dropped their s in big games and he has had a few games out.
Peacock is the front runner for me, he has been nothing short of awesome. I would tell every young forward to watch him.

You don't think Peacock deserves a mention then.
Fair enough

| Peacock probably should be favourite now, Walsh started well but has faded and IMO Bateman has been our best player by far this season. Not really surprised to see no wigan players so far due to not being a settled side, maybe that'll change in the second half of the season

| Walsh has been fine against weak opposition but is anonymous against a good side (that's playing well). He's a good player no doubt but I think Peacock is having a better season.

| To suggest Walsh has faded or 'goes missing' in the big games to me sounds like you've stolen somebody else's opinion that also hasn't watched too much of him. Saints have faded and badly, but about 90% of the good things we do are thanks to Walsh. Like somebody above has posted, he completely carries us at times.
As to the betting odds, I was tempted to get on Walsh before the season but didn't, absolutely gutted! However, you'd hear zero arguments from me if Peacock won it. He is phenomenal.
