Couldn't agree more. The bloke oozes class in attack and a workhorse in defence. Over the last 2 years he has come out of the shadow of Farrell and rightly should be considered to be as good.

definitely up there with the best. That pass to sarginson was out of this world and proves that kind of pass can go backwards.

Thought he was top class today especially in the first half when he was opening us up with ease.

Outstanding again! Nathan Brown got it spot on post match and all credit to him for being forthright enough to call it as it was. Gave Saints a lesson today in attack, defence, motivation and organisation. Head and shoulders the best player on the park today.

Nathan Brown is like a one man Lockers fan club! Not the first time he's given him huge wraps.

He has been better than Farrell for a long time. Farrell was a great dominant captain, SOL is a great inspirational leader who doesn't need to "bully" others as he has better motivational skills IMO.

He's the best player in SL.

If he can stay fit for most of the season then it will be a scandal if he doesn't get the MoS.

He now deserves to be ranked as one of the all time great Wigan captains now. The effort he put in against Wire in the GF last year was unbelievable. His lead by example rather than vocal style of leadership has had its critics over the years but no one would now question his contribution and achievements as captain.

I don't even think that the comparisons with Farrell as a player are an issue any more. As a player Lockers' stature in the British game is now such that Saints fans on their board are suggesting he more or less won the game on his own and that he should be in the NRL.

I'd like to see him captaining his country.

He's pushed through in to that Faz bracket of legend in the past couple of years IMO. He is a supreme player and a fine leader and his performances in 3 games have pushed him to that next level IMO. They were-

Wire in the grand final
New Zealand in the World Cup
The Roosters in the WCC

He was immense in all three of those games and out in performances Andy Farrell would have been very proud of.

Just to quote SW in todays guardian "I've just said to him in the shower room, he never ceases to amaze me" - does this mean he's hung like a donkey aswell? some guys have all the luck...

For me, he has been very underrated for far too long. For a long time he has been as important to us as Farrell ever was, if not more so. Let's just hope he doesn't swan off to RU as well!...
