| There are plenty of tickets left by the looks of things, which really does surprise me. I was shocked the other day when I heard 60,000 fans expected at the GF. Anything less than 70K will be disappointing.
I expected this game to really catch the attention of the neutrals, perhaps they've spent their extra wonga on WC tickets? who knows ....
Seems Wigan have shifted more than Wire, which again is very surprising, as this is there first final this year. And they are usually fantastic numbers wise, especially at finals

| I reckon it will be the same as at Wembley with neutrals very thin on the ground, money is tight for an awful lot of people, add to that the thought of Wigan doing the double will be too much for some teams fans to bear !!!

| Plenty of people are now getting fed up with the prospect of their day out being ruined by drunken twonks that they don't bother with the Challenge Cup or Grand Final anymore.

| I'm a Bradford fan and just phoned the RL ticket line and bought 2 tickets in the Wire end in the West stand second tier. The lady on the other end informed me that the West stand second tier is nowhere near capacity.
Regardless of how many tickets are sold it'll hopefully be a great game.

| Surprised that Wire seem to have sent a lot if tickets back. The other day they had no blocks with good availability (coloured green) on the RFL website but now they have 6.
A Wire fan on their site the other day reckoned they would sell their allocation then have the 5k we don't sell as per usual. That looks a ridiculous claim now!

That's probably because, instead of giving them to the club who are supposed to occupy the entire end, last year someone at the RFL sold tickets in those blocks to Leeds Utd (yes, football, not rugby) 'fans' who spent the entire match ruining the occasion for all those around them.
This year they were also 'not available' to buy from Warrington, but had been retained by the RFL ..... presumably to be sold again to supporters from any other club apart from those who should be there. Who knows, if we're really lucky, there'll be some Millwall & Shaktar Donetsk fans wearing Wigan shirts for our entertainment.

It seems to be an identical message (word perfect) on both the Wigan and Warrington club sites that tickets will be on sale at the Old Trafford ticket office right up to the kick off time, it seems t be a concerted effort by the RL and both Clubs to shift as many tickets has they can right to the end.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |
