Blake Green...... Man of the match?

Dont make me laugh

The forward pack was outstanding tonight and deserve all the plaudits.

Taylor is playing like Mossop did two years ago. Never gets driven back, fantastic engine and always finds the front foot.

Mossop bashed Crabtree during that second spell. I cant remember a time when i have seen Eorl dominated so much

HH was his usual self and Faz had his best in a long while for me

MM was almost fanatical about bruising the opposition tonight. He really is a nasty piece of work. I absolutely love it.

MOM for me by some distance was Flower.

I remember him when he was at crusaders, but only because he looks like Bob Di Niro. Thought he was a pretty average signing when we brought him in.

After this season though and especially tonight, he deserves all the raps available. Loves to Spooge made an off the cuff comment a few years ago, saying he "could" be like our version of Paul Gallen. Well he might not on the same class as Gallen (who is a MONSTER imo) but he certainly tries like him.

What a bruiser and for my money MOM tonight.

Blake green had a cracking game

He owes it the the guys mentioned above though.

Flower is hard as nails and was terrific tonight. Same for Mcilorum.

Mossop is getting back to form, Hansen and Farrell were tireless as always and Taylor always makes great yards.

The pack bar Powell were terrific (Powell was put in a poor position by Wane IMO) and playing the extra prop worked well.

I thought Green had a cracking 2nd half but was poor first half but Matty Smith just pulled the strings to perfection IMO. He's gone to another level recently and its great to see because he's a top bloke by the looks of things.

Yes it wasn't fair for Powell to be thrown into that one, especially not from the start.

Should be replaced by Tuson next week if he's fit but I'm still confident he'll do well for us next year.

If you give Matty Smith the time and space he is a great player, his long and short kicking game is possibly the best in the league if we are on the front foot.

Mcilorum MOTM tonight - he was simply immense.

Don't think I have seen a 9 dominate a game like that for a long time - he bullied the Huddersfield pack tonight and some of the Huddersfield forwards looked sick of the sight of him.

From a Huddersfield point of view I again thought Ferres was the danger man - great player.

Flower's build reminds me a bit of Andy Platt.

Thought the pack won the match tonight.

MM was also my MoM.

He doesn't half give the opposition forwards some stick.

Plays well above his weight.

Flower as a 13 doesn't work at all when the team is trying to throw the ball around all the time. He doesn't have the ability to draw the defenders in and pass accurately like O'Loughlin does.

If you want to dominate in the forwards and play down the middle then Flower will give you what you want. When he runs the ball in more than he passes he plays to his strengths and plays well.

i think Hansen and Farrell playing 80 mins leaves us to weak in the contact area (add Logan Tomkins) and having more props on the bench works a lot better, heavier bodies in the contact worked a treat tonight.

I was impressed with Flower and Mossop tonight. Both made good yards every time they had the ball.

Not sure where the love-in for McIlorum comes from though. He was poor tonight.

Flower was awesome tonight. If Paul Gallen performed like that the media would be raving about it.

Fully agree, he's shown some promise in low intensity matches but also showed he was an accident waiting to happen.

A punishing pre season and some pre season action will give us a pretty handy player IMO.
