| Is a must win game for our boys. This needs to be treated like a cup final.
The last thing we need is another defeat building up to the play off's and definately dont want to go in to the saints game needing to win to win the league leaders shield.
We need to go to Hull KR, win and win well.
I think Hugell the KR chairman was using a bit of reverse psychology when he publically stated their season was over following their last game. I think he may have been trying to fire up his squad before the wigan game in one last assault to make the play off's.
Incidentally, we won the league leaders shield at Hull KR in 2010

| To be honest, I'd rather go in weak... Finch is still clearly playing half fit, leave him out. Anyone else carrying even the slightest of knocks, leave them out. This is our very last chance to give our overly flogged players a break. If Tommy is fit, spell him, get him back in the groove. Then bring everyone back to finish in style and smash Saints going into the playoffs.

| I'm certainly looking to hearing of a clinical display from Wigan on Sunday. High completion, low error is just what the doctor ordered. Get that right and the rest will take care of it's self.
Nnibly_Warrior is right though we shouldn't be risking anyone who isn't 100% fit. Not with the play-off's so close.
Looking forward to seeing Tommy play. Whether it's spelling with McIlorum at 9 or slotting straight back into the halves making Smith share the hooking duties. I'd favour the first option personally.
Unfortunately I shan't be in attendance to see it as I'm having to attend a Wedding. Still the first I've had to attend in ten years, so it ain't all bad.

| Tricky Dicky is right - we just cannot afford to slip up on this one and I also thought the same about a bit of reverse psychology going on. Warrington are still in with a shout of winning all three this year and they would be rightly cock a hoop if they did so but how sick would we feel if we lost the LLS by one point for the second year running? Not a feeling I want to experience thanks.

| Full throttle on Sunday IMO. The lads have had a week off from playing and now is the time to find that top form again.
We need our best side out there to get some cohesion before the play offs. I'd include Leuluai on the bench and possibly Fielden.

| We need a full strength side out and like others have said let's go back to the foundation of our recent success - a nasty and bruising defence!
Let's get our big guns out and smash them. Let's then take that into the Saints game and the playoffs. I really wanna see us rip into a few sides.

| Leeds defence in the first ten minutes on Saturday was exactly how I thought we'd rip in to Wire in our recent game. They targetted guys like Westwood, Carvell and Hill and forced some errors. Sadly our game was the opposite way round and we had a couple of players who went in their shell and others started throwing panic ball away.
Wire gave a brilliant lesson in riding an early storm IMO. They didn't panic, they kept things simple and knew if they hung in Leeds couldn't keep that intensity.
I hope our lads were watching.

I remembered when we played Leeds away earlier on in the season and we really took them apart in the tackle. That's the level we need to be at. Every time their big men touched the ball we absolutely ripped into them and they just had nothing to throw at us.
I really do think that if we get back to that level of nastiness in defense we'll get to Old Trafford. We've got enough strike in our side to mean we can pull through. The ability to shut other teams out is what wins us big games.

| go in with a full strength side, even if we are carrying a few knocks (who isnt at this stage?), win the hub cap, then have the luxury of resting the entire squad for a meaningless game against saints, and go into the play-offs after a weeks rest for most players.
smash up saints/cats/leeds in week 1, then they al get another week end off.
simple

Not forgetting the two weeks after against Leeds and Catalans.

I think this gives us some indication to how Wane is going to play the remaining two games.
"I'll play my strongest side every week because every game, from now until we finish, is a massive one.
"They're all really important games. We're desperate to beat Hull KR this week to finish top of the ladder, our last game is at home to St Helens, so that's one we definitely don't want to lose, and then we're into the play-offs.
"And we want to hit the play-offs in some great form and with some momentum."

| I reckon you'll beat us, but also reckon it'll be a lot closer than you think.
Rovers are playing pretty well although there are some obvious gaffs, it's just our total inability to close out games at the moment. On points difference we should actually be 7th not 10th.
Be scared, but not too scared
