If anybody saw the tvs under the stand last night the way we buy our season ticket is changing as it looks like they are being renamed season memberships i dont know why hopfully someone on here could know the answer.

I'll take a punt and reckon they'll do exactly the the same as they do now.

I bet they'll do something a little bit different, cost slightly more.

How can they justify an increase when the players wages ( The SC) havnt gone up in 10 years.

Because that only amounts to about half our costs.

Non playing staff increases in size year on year. (Coley added to coaching team this year - South Wales..etc)
Investment in South Wales / Central Park.
Cost of upkeep for facilities at Orrell.

There's a start.

Yes all them things above but what people see is 13 home games costing more and more and will drive people away from the game we have to be carefull as a game as attandances are down apart from Wakefield and saints.

You could argue equally well that the entire sport is going down the pan. Personally, I didn't get a season ticket this year and expect to watch even fewer games next year. Never thought I'd see the day.....

Definitly true and I think that is something the RFL need to seriously do something about. From a Wigan standpoint though, I've enjoyed going to the game a lot more the past few years than I did in early 2006.

Its so boring now though. Only going out of habit and the fact that i have a season ticket.

And to be honest if i had to pay for that, i probably would have gone to about 4 games this season.

its as bad a competition as i can remember. at least half of the teams are pointless in terms of what they offer to the sport/comp.

Are we now victims of our own recent success?

Does it now get boring winning the majority of our games by a highish margin?

In the Noble era our last performance would have been considered a highlight of the season. Now people are calling it scrappy, a poor performance and boring?

Salford are a good side and made them look like Pats 3rd team. We seem to have stopped praising our ability to shut teams down.
