| Rob Burrow in, no McIlorum?
HA
Micky has been the best English hooker in the league for weeks, just goes to prove that form doesn't mean much to Mr McNamara.

| Simple really, take out Ablett and bring In goulding, play him inside Josh Charnley, and Atkins inside Hall, Sam at fullback and Brough and Chase in the halves and you have a pretty good back line, whereas the pack picks itself. It's a shame that McNamara has no clue.

Well he did say last night there'd be some debate from the squad, and for once he got something right.

The average brigade.
How Micky Mac is over looked for England is beyond a joke!

| Thats a crap squad overall.
Wigan would beat the best team out of that squad. At least it proves a point Mcnamara is an idiot.

| Leeds have more players in the squad (6) than any other team, presumably it would have been more if McGuire and Watkins were fit. This is becoming totally embarrasing now.

indeed, and what has Carl Ablett ever done to keep getting selected for the squad. He has never been good enough to get in the team, yet he constantly gets in the squad. Rob Burrow too is another bizarre selection.
It is a squad selection that lacks clarity and strategy. If it is a squad for the 2013 World Cup and beyond, as we are constantly told, then there are at least 10 players in there that shouldn't be.

| Honestly can't believe it. The squad on the whole just shows how bad a coach McNamara is; he's picking on reputation, not form and who deserves to be in there.
Not just because Micky and Fuzzy aren't in there, I've not got my bitter hat on, but common surely it's common sense to pick the current most potent centre-wing partnership in the league? Charnley isn't top try scorer just off his own bat. Darrell Goulding more than deserves a place in that squad.
As for the Burrow inclusion, I can understand that. He can turn a game off the bench. Surely there's room for McIlorum as well though? Has to be the current form player in his position and he gets better every week. Can't understand why he was in the last squad but is now playing even better and isn't in this one. Complete lack of any consistency and awareness.
All in all, poor effort McBanana. Very poor.

| Suits me that. Less England players in the squad= less injuries. We have 4 in the exiles as well don't we?
After all, I want a fully fit and uninjured team to turn up against Widnes and dismantle them after last time. If we can put 50 past Leeds we have the capability to put 100 past Widnes! Payback!
