Is the final game of the regular season hopefully. We could rub the salt in the wounds even more I wonder if the team know this in the back of there minds?

The nearest Saints will come to a trophy this year will be when they're in the dressing rooms at the DW. Our trophy cabinet is about directly above them, which is sort of poetic, really.

I agree with that, England v Aus just isn't the same.
IMO rugby league peaked around 1990-1994, the GB v Aus clashes in that period were intense. Somehow we went to around the time SL came in and never really recovered to the same standard whilst the Aussies maintained it. |

Try and get a DVD of the 1962 Ashes Tour, arguably the best GB side ever (Boston, McTigue, Huddart, Murphy etc), and an Australian side littered with legends of their game,(Gasnier, Raper etc), you'll be surprised at the quality and speed of the game,then again,maybe you have already seen this and I'm wasting my time !!!! |
