forwards were fantastic tonight, on top almost from word go, mcilorum played very well, and some of the defence was cruel at times, stevo got it right, a lot more desire from us out there tonight, we looked like we wanted it

Very much so, complete transformation from last week. Still not overly impressed with Luaki or Flower, though. Hughes did ok coming in, mostly solid defence, though possibly had a couple of chances to pass and didn't, Goulding & Charnley were excellent in both attack and defence, and as you say, McIlorum had another good game. Hock's starting to look mean & nasty again, too!

Need to watch the TV coverage now, to see if I can make sense of some of Halibut's decisions...

Not turning this in to a 'told you so' thing but I said in the week it was crazy to write off players like Goulding and McIlorum so soon and both were outstanding tonight. I also said today we must give Lauaki a chance and he was another who was excellent showing great footwork and aggression.

Well done to the 3 of them. I'm really happy for them and Wane.

McIlorum was very impressive and I thought Lauaki had a much better game. He came on and added a bit more aggression which is exactly what you want. I did think Flower was ineffective though but at least he worked his socks off. He doesn't look big enough for a prop and gets dominated in the tackle but it's still early doors. Defensively he was good as were the rest of the team.

Except for that Goulding of course. Can't defend and never passes to his winger

goulding was great going forward, and looks alot more reliable than joel in his spot, with charnley receiving alot more good ball. the halves looked alot better but that was probably down to a dominant forward performance. finch was incredible at recovering loose ball. im liking the look of tuson too.
