| Does anyone else on here think that the quality of the new home shirt is sub standard?
Having looked at them in the shop and found that the first three shirts I picked up all had marks on them, I thought that the fabric is cheap and the general quality is very much down on the last few seasons.
Now, I understand if Mr. Lenegan only wants a shirt to last a season, so they can sell us all new ones each year, but £47 for a cheaply made replica shirt is just plain wrong.
I know that many will buy them, I probably will myself as I think the design is brilliant, but it is just another miscalculation as far as I am concerned which may alienate some more fans who think that a desire for a profit margin is becoming more important than giving us a quality product.
When many products in the shop have improved beyond recognition over the last three years, the most important one, our shirt, has just taken a huge leap backwards.

| So you think Ian Leneghan chooses crap quality material for shirts so that they only last a year and then you have to buy a new one?
Do you seriously think Leneghan has anything to do with shirt materials and then picks the cheapest to increase his profit margin??
I'm not surprised I'm the first to reply to this. You've started a thread to moan about something that your still going to buy!

| I saw the new home shirt for the first time properly on Saturday (A Wigan fan who posts on here had it on at the International game) and it looked and felt fine, ask the Captain.
The only thing I didn't like was the badge which looks a bit of an afterthought.

It's being spoken about as one of the best home shirts in recent years, so I have no idea how you've worked that out.

You're a real expert at taking a quote totally out of context and throwing it back to discredit aren't you?
Three people in the shop all commented that the material was inferior to previous shirts, so wind your neck in! I say in my origianal post that I think the DESIGN IS BRILLIANT. Just the quality of material seems rubbish.
I am allowed an opinion and I was asking if anyone shared the same. Are you on the payroll at the Warriors? If not, you should be, pick at anyone who complains and shut them up, think not
Just wait till people start to wear them and then see what they think, unless things like this are brought up, prices keep going up, quality keeps going down.

| I thought the quality wasn't the best to be honest. It's a great looking shirt and one of the best for years, but the material seems a little on the thin side.

| You'll be glad of it in the summer no doubt, and for the winter games just put a few layers under it

Could that just be the fact that dozens of people have passed through the shop and put marks on the shirts.
You know a true Wiganer only likes to shop at lunchtime whilst guzzling on a pie, think of all that grease.

| I've got 4 ISC tops (England + ref gear) plus tonnes of training wear and in my opinion the quality is fantastic.
I imagine it will be for our gear too

| Couldnt ask more from the quality - the fit is much better aswell, no big baggy sleeves.
I feel this years shirt, is what this one was meant to turn out like.
10/10 from me.

| The quality is pretty good. It's not the thickest shirt in the world but then with our blazing English summers why would we need that!
It's a 9/10 shirt that would have been a 10/10 if only they'd embroidered the badge on like they did the Magners logo.

ISC make the shirts and choose the materials not Leneghan. Look at the prices of the other clubs shirts who use ISC, do you still think Leneghan is ripping you off? Moan about the price, moan about the quality but still buy it. If people keep buying them, then nothing will change. A little whinge on here won't do anything.
