According to George Riley (BBC Radio 5) on twitter he had signed a deal with Wigan but has done a u-turn.

Gareth Thomas' agent has apparently said to George Riley that Thomas had signed for Wigan, but did a complete U-turn. On the face of this I'm very pleased - he was not fit to pull on the Cherry and White shirt. Although, I am curious as to what Ian Lenagan had in mind with the move.
The man has had a fantastic career though and every credit for giving RL a real go with the Crusaders. I wish him all the best for the future.
