How do they come up with a list like that?

There's just no fair way of judging it. An example I'd use of that is Benji Marshall being at 4 when if I could sign anyone on the list it would be him so he'd be 1. Then you've got somebody like Gareth Ellis who's been Wests player of the year 3 seasons on the spin at 16 behind guys like Glenn Stewart and Sam Thaiday who are superb players but surely haven't been that consistent. They are Aussie though so that's always a winner.

A few iffy SL selections suggests they've not a great knowledge of over here.

Overall, it's a reasonably fair reflection with sam comparable with darius boyd. Trouble is it's just opinions so will never be accurate when compiling such a big list.

Utter rhubarb. To use one club as an example -Yeaman at 99 but no Tom Briscoe at all.

You can never really compare players in different positions though? Rankings only ever work for individual sports like Tennis/Golf.

Hoffman only the 98th best player in the world????
