| What do we reckon?
It's a tough call wheather to rest plenty or try and keep momentum. I think the lads are good enough cope with a week off and turn it on at Wembley so I'd rest players.
My side-
Roberts
Charnley
Tomkins
Goulding
Marsh
Mellor
Deacon
Mossop
McIlorum
Lima
Hansen
Hoffman
Farrell
Subs
Prescott
Crosby
Hock
L Tomkins
It's a risk resting players but win or lose this game we will more then likely have to win at Wire to finish first. I think that side would beat Bradford anyway.

Personally I'd try and keep momentum. Last year we performed poorly after a week off several times, I think it's best to hit the cup final with all guns blazing, not after some players having a game in the sidelines.

| How about O'Caroll in that squad, on the bench to see how he goes, would do good to rest someone for the BIG game, and to see how O'Caroll goes on in the next stage of his development in his return to 1st team ? I seen him in the reserves, scored a couple of tries, maybe worth resting someone? What do you all think?

THIS. All guns blazing for the next few weeks then hopefully everyone gets a rest in week 2 of the playoffs. Keeping the momentum going is vital. One or two changes maybe but Madge has never been one for wholesale changes.

I mentioned this the other day actually and think it's worth putting him in against Bradford. With his contract being up at the end of the season surely it must be worth giving him a shot in the 1st team. Not seen any of the 20's since hes been back but most of the reports seem to suggest he's getting plenty of minutes under his belt.

this
plus Rads quite rightly pointed out on Sunday after the game alot of the lads will be putting in performanceas to tray and secure their place in the Wembley team, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a massaive score on Friday

Give some bodies a rest and get a good look at our fringe players to see who might be worth more game time next season. Big chance for Eamon O'Carroll to stake his claim for a new contract. I'd prefer a team of players fighting for a first team spot to a team assured of their spot who just want to make sure they don't get injured or suspended for Wembley. Keep that right wing partnership together though the more time they have to gel the better

| I know Rads already said that everyone will be playing for their spot at wembley vs Bradford, I cant help feel that with so many big games coming up, Wembley, Wire away (although thats only a big game if we beat bradford..), playoffs. It wouldnt hurt to rest a few this week.
I'd go with:
Roberts
Charnley
Joel
Marsh
Richards
Finch
Mellor
Lima
McIlorum
Mossop
Hock
Hoffman
Farrell
Goulding
Prescott
Crosby
Hughes
Sam, Leuluai, O'Loughlin, Hansen, Carmont, Deacon, Coley have all done enough this year to secure their place at wembley. - Not that players like Charnley, Pat, Joel, Finch, Lima, Mossop, Hoffman etc havent but we cant play the under 20s, we still need a win.

| Prescott has to be the first name on the team. He has to prove himself fit to be in contention for a place in the final.
The ones I would rest would be Sam, Carmont, Tommy, Coley, Hansen, Lockers and maybe Pat.

| Play our best possible team, in prep for next week.
Contrary to popular opinion, the worst possible time to rest anybody would be the week before a big game. They all need to play.
That said, I'd be disappointed if Hoffman played 80 mins again.
Tomkins
Charnley, Tomkins, Carmont, Richards
Finch, Deacon
Lima, Leuluai, Coley
Hoffman, Hansen
O'Loughlin
McIlorum, Farrell, Mossop, Prescott (we need to know if he's 100%)

I honestly don't think we'd win if you rested all those players.

| The coaching and fitness staff will know which of the players may be a little jaded and in need of a rest.
In my opinion players should not be rested just in case they may get injured - after all they may get injured in the first minute at Wembley.
Players need to play and they are professional enough to know that when they are on the field they risk injury especially if they don`t give 100% in everything they do.
I trust Madge 100 % to get the balance right - he knows the right calls to make.

Presuming Wire win in France our result means little on Friday.
Win and we still need to win at Wire. Lose and we still need to win at Wire.
That's why I'd have no problems resting rafts of players on Friday. With us having pretty much a given on the last day we could actually afford to still lose this and finish top if we do the business at Wire.

This for me! We need to play our strongest possible side and take momentum into next week. Only exception I may have is rest Carmont.
