None whatsoever, which is exactly what we've been saying for ages, and is why we need to get more lads out on dual reg/loan deals, if possible.
It was just as one-sided as the scoreline suggests.
Encouraging signs that Amos is getting fitter, though - he played wing 1st half, fullback 2nd, and looked to have a lot more confidence in his knee than we've seen previously.

No good at all. Saints played Huddersfield and the score was 68 - 8 to Saints. The players didn't even have to get out of second gear really. Saints haven't even been able field a proper side for ages as they are using players in the first team. There must be something that the rfl can come up with surely.

I agree, Huddersfield conceding so many points against a team that probably won't even make the top six play offs. God help them when they play their outstanding games v Wigan & Wire
Huddersfields points difference is around -480 points.

That Huddersfield game isn't going to be replayed. It's been defaulted 26-0 win to us which actually seals first place for us in the play offs. Warrington still mathmatically could have taken 1st had Hudds beaten us and then they did also in the final league match but the likelyhood of Huddersfield claiming at win at Orrell considering they had won just 2 games all season was pretty remote and it would have only been effort to decide which team would host the Grand Final Qualifier anyway.
It's complicated but depending on Castleford losing both their remaining games, Saints can still sneak in the top 6 on points difference if that happens and they win all their games which includes a potential vital game in hand against, you guessed it, Huddersfield away (not to be confused with the match just played today at Saints). If required it's a more important game than our one. I suspect our cup final appearance hindered the chance of replaying our game as well.
Hudds btw had played Wire home & away already so had no postponed game to catch up against them!
Wigan meanwhile will still play Warrington away the week after the cup final it seems but in terms of the league it's now a dead duck game. They'll then take a week off and the two sides will meet again at Orrell on the weekend of 17/18th September in a Under 20s Grand Final Qualifier (old top 6 play off system).
Makes you wonder though. Stuart Fielden was due to play that postponed Huddersfield game wasn't he? Maybe his 2011 would have ended differently had it gone ahead!
Either way its a bit of a joke and I think Huddersfield should be fined heavily for the farce! I mean it's took me about 10 edits to work out and explain the situation in this post.

| Missed this 'cos of no computer, could we not put a poster advertising the games on the corner of Edge Hall road, there's already a small notice board there, it also could attract more "walk ups".

It would be a good idea to promote the games more.
Anyone know where the 20's final will be played? Presume it will be at Wigan or Wire depending on who wins in the play off game

Would Uncle Dave let them use the DW if it's Wigan though? He's allowed it once in the past (last year?), but refused several times before, and the rules say that it has to be at the ground the 1st team use, hence we've lost home advantage in these instances as the runner up has hosted instead.

Last year was at Knowsley Road, it was 2009 when they played at the DW.
