Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

98 was my experience of Wembley with Wigan. Not the best.
So confident of winning at Wembley whoever we play.

Good luck, I hope you enjoy your day as much as I enjoyed mine in 2009 and 2010! It's a magical place, much better than the old wembley with a great view of the pitch from anywhere in the stadium. Make sure the trophy stays west of the pennines please! Am I now allowed to say "it's only a tin pot trophy anyway" like you lot have been saying for the last 2 years? Lol.

My first Wembley was 1994 and the Offiah try, lets hope for a repeat of that with Josh Charnley beating Brent Webb or Richie Mathers!!!

THE BEER HILL HAS GONE? NOOOOO! Great memories of that hill through the nineties, I went to Finals from 1990-1995, it formed the basis of my teenage years 12 -18 started off just jumping up and down on that hill singing and soaking up the atmosphere as a 13 year old and a few years later being p1$$ed on the coach trip organised by the local pub and enjoying the sunshine on that hill pre-match. If it's not there anymore it's a real shame because pre-match the beer hill would have been made for Brigantes.
I haven't been to the new wembley but certainly that first time remember walking up the steps into the stadium and reaching the top and seeing the sheer size of it for the first time I nearly burst into tears. I can't wait to go back now and will be taking my wife for her first trip to Wembley.
