| Hopefully somebody will find this thing useful! Alternatively you could do the flag free-hand, but I have absolutely no artistic skill or anything so that wasn't an option for me!
You'll need paints, fabric, a pencil, sticks (garden canes are probably the best bed?), tape and space.
The material I used was poly-cotton, I bought it from a shop called Abakhans in Manchester, but all material/fabric shops should sell it, I think Jimmy Birts got his from The Range. Mine was 112cm by 100cm, the size completely depends on how much you want the flag to stand out. As for paints, I used acrylics as they were all I could find, fabric paints may be better but I honestly don't know!
The first step is to have an image to base your flag on, I used the Brigantes logo.
If any body is struggling to create their design or image I'm happy for them to pm me their idea and I'll see what I can do on photoshop!
The second step is to upload this image to rlpicslicerl, this allows the image to be blown up and printed over several sheets of a4.
The third step is to stick all the sheets together until you have a large image that you can trace, I then taped this to the floor. This photo was taken after I'd done some painting as I forgot to take it before I started  |

| I imagine you could make a flag using A4 iron on transfers more generally used for T-shirts, though without doing it I don't know how good the results would be. I think I've got a few stashed away somewhere actually. Might be time to find an old bed sheet to cut up and test my theory.  |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

Nice one, that will look class. Maybe put black around the edge to make it stand out, kind of like the Farrell flag.
I think it would take a joint effort in a garage on a huge canvas!
