| Just wondering, if we had an easy easy game, or one we didn't need to win. We could put this team out and would it be strong enough?
S.Tomkins
J.Charnley
J.Tomkins
S.Marsh
D.Goulding
P.Deacon
S.O'Loughlin
P.Prescott
M.Mc'IILorum
S.Fielden
L.Farrell
G.Hock
C.Tuson
Subs:
1. L.Mossop (second row)
2. J.Hughes
3. E.O'Carroll
4. A.Coley (second row)
Certainly would be a statement if we did and won!

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| Huge pack with Mossop in the SR!
1-13 have all played regular super league rugby for us at some point and Mossop and Coley play every week as well, that team is good enough to win games against anyone outside the top 5-6... against wire and saints we need that extra class we get from our overseas players.
I doubt any other club could put out a team as strong as that with just English players.

| I think a stronger team would be...
S Tomkins; Charnley, J Tomkins, Marsh, Goulding; Mellor, Deacon; Mossop, McIlorum, Coley; Hock, Farrell, O'Loughlin
Subs: Prescott, Fielden, Tuson, L Tomkins/Powell/Hughes
There's a lot of excellent English players in the side that's for sure.

| Interesting thread. I think we could also pick a competitive all English 17, that would challenge for a play-off spot.

| I thought we only signed overseas players and got rid of all our young talent?

Change it to who's come through their academy and it doesn't look quite as good though!
