| what do you think now that wire are out of the cup and if Wigan progress to the final, the game the week after the final could be the decider for the league with wire going in to this with a week off could you lift yourselves for it?

| It's never easy, but it's too early to call at present.
The problem with Wire in the last two years was that they seemed to switch off after their Cup wins.
Wigan haven't even got to Wembley yet, so I don't think there'll be any switch-off from us in the next few weeks.
If we win the cup, maybe. But it's hard to say.

| Easily, you have forgot that wire have to go to france and hull, wigan after hull on friday play salford, bradford and crusaders all at home. I still feel wire can drop points in particular if briers has torn his calf he is going to be out for a few weeks.

| Wire will lose next week, due to their inability to back-up after big games, if we lose the the week after our potential final it will only restore parity.

| The thing is - it's massive for us that for one or two games next month we could effectively rest a big chunk of the back and use Eamon O'Carroll, Stuart Fielden, Ben Cross and Liam Farrell and not be weakened that much. So I think we've a squad to cope with the cup progress and more so the mentality to do it as well. However, it's a secondary concern for me. Cup is all that matters, especially with a home play off tie being pretty much assured.
It'll be interesting to see how Warrington bounce back though next Sunday, even more so if Wigan win themselves on Friday at Hull. Bradford are in the bracket of Salford, Hull and (early season) Catalan as the type of team Warrington have struggled with this year at home. Blow them away and yesterday will be quickly out your system. Struggle or a loss and the self doubt might hit Warrington hard.

| have a feeling that Wire might start to crack after the defeat yesterday and as NLWW above states they could possibly drop some points, IMO there bubble has burst

| It is the business end to the season without a doubt Wire have injuries to key players which is a shame but it is a squad competition but with a couple of weekends off coming up this could give great benefits to the players.Wigan have the easier run in but can they do it mentally in two competitions we'll all just have to wait and see.

By one person.
Why does it suit you to ignore everyone else's views?

Oner person on this thread has said Wire's bubble has burst. The others have given constructive, well-balanced opinions.
Do yourself a favour and turn off the self-pity button.

| let's not turn this post into a slanging match but it does astound me sometimes the arrogance of some Wigan fans it's not the late 80's early 90's anymore with only one full time proffesional club.

| I just can't see Wigan taking the foot off the gas at all. Our squad is incredibly disciplined, driven and so focused. In the last few big matches (Saints, Huddersfield and Wire) our players have been so immersed in their desire to perform that they've absolutely destroyed three very good sides. At times they look possessed. It's fantastic.
Squad depth will be pivotal and Wigan have the strongest strength in depth in the league. We have Liam Farrell, Chris Tuson, Stuart Fielden, Ben Cross, Eamon O'carroll, Darrell Goulding, Stefan Marsh etc who all could have played.
We will have to use our strength in depth to mount a serious challenge for both trophies. But with a set of props from - Stuart Fielden, Andy Coley, Jeff Lima, Paul Prescott, Lee Mossop, Ben Cross and Eamon O'carroll. A set of back row forwards from Ryan Hoffman, Harrison Hansen, Gaz Hock, Liam Farrell and Chris Tuson. I think we'll be fine.
