39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

He must be one of the best signings Wigan have ever made, great value and top quality.
He is the best centre in super league IMO and only the top players in the NRL could do a better job but his commitment and proffesionalism is second to none.
Very bold statements though from Leuluai.
Who is our best ever signing?

| In terms of value for money he is definitely the best overseas signing we've ever made. One of the most committed too. I can't think of any other centre in Super League I would rather have over George Carmont. Kirk Yeamen and Kris Welham have been in good form, but aren't a patch on Carmont. Chris Bridge, Ryan Atkins and Michael Shenton don't get near him either IMO (awaits backlash).
As for the best overseas signing I've seen in Super League - Adrian Lam. The man was a genius. Steve Renouf, Brett Dallas, Trent Barrett, Craig Smith and for a short part of 2010 Amos Roberts have been a joy to watch.

However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

| I love the fact that he's starting next year's campaign early

It is a shame Barrett and Lam couldn't have played together at Wigan. We would have walked super league.
Carmont will be in his 5th season next year! Fantastic!

| He's no better than that bloke who couldn't play on Sundays.
Brady Malam wipes the floor with him too.

Wasnt it Friday nights he couldnt play? Or could only play in the daylight or somethin?
Still makes me cringe every time I think about that, absolute rock bottom we hit that day. Unbelievable.

| Sione never signed, he only had a trial (one game I think). IIRC, Sione scored a hat-trick earlier in his career for NZ against a GB side consisting of Radlinski, Long, Morley and other regular British Internationals.
