7347.jpg When the ball hits the net, it's not Torres or Shrek, it's Aguero:7347.jpg |

| And a lot of the away fans chose to turn back and stay at home instead?
At times I thought that we were playing Bradford at home given the level of support in the North stand.
Or is it indicative of the economic climate and the last remaining mines are being closed down over t'hill?

Indeed, Leeds is known of its mining, there is plenty of mines in Leeds and has been for a long long time.
Definitely not legal, financial, and services industries. Its the mining where most people in Leeds work.

Am so sorry to hear that. We'll send over a food parcel and some ricketts cream.

| Not the best away support, but Leeds isn't really known for mining (Wigan has on occasion been referred to as 'Coalopolis'). Not sure where the mining reference has come from.

3 minutes for a bite - you're losing your touch.
Only cars with colours I saw tonight were Hull ones.

Dont forget the sheep farms. Large numbers of us are involved in sheep farming too.

Leeds is more well known for Marks & Spencers. Or at least one of them, who could not speak a word of English.

| Looks like they've some serious issues over on the Southstander match report:
-------
On twenty-five Sam Tomkins prevented a Leeds try by tackling close from not square. Leeds got the penalty but incredibly Halibut failed to show the Wigan cheat a yellow card for a professional foul.
Leaving Sam Tomkins on the field after his professional foul in the first half was refereeing cowardice.
On thirty-two a cross field kick from Finch which seemed to be knocked-on by Richards before being collected by Hoffman who walked over the line to score.
--------
Really think Bilko should change his reporting style to emulate this.

| In regards to that tackle, yes Sam gave away a penalty but it could have equally gone the other way for moving off the mark. How on earth was Sam expected to get back to the play the ball when the player had moved so far forward while quickly playing the ball?
