A question in general...

Even more so now, if we win our game in hand against Cas? Who has had the better season so far? Us or Warrington? Whats funny is the majority of fans on here who took our game against Cas as a game that would take us top, and above the form team in the comp?! Now were looking at it as a must win game to keep us in the race! It was the same old last time when 'we' thought we would beat Catalan!

Success breeds arrogance, but success also breeds d!ckheads!
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg

I don't think there's much between Wigan and Warrington at the moment, Wigan have lost less games but drawn more. Wigan's recent results have been around 40 points in Wigan's favour and Warrington's have been similar.

Going on points difference, Warrington edges it but the only real test will be on the 23rd July or at the end of the season.

Warrington...For 617.....Against 227

Wigan...........For 418.....Against 241

that's more than just edges it in my book.

From not so sunny montpellier! If we continue playing the way we have the majority of this season we will find the the next weeks very hard. Our attack is lopsided as we have no confidence in JT at centre and neither should they he is terrible. Our discipline is poor. We really lacked go forward and our attacking options are... Sam tomkins. Our last kick options are woeful. Yet we are still up there but the recent run of games as helped that against the poorer teams. The true test of our campaign starts now.

For me this season is too close to call.

4 teams that could realistically finish top. Plenty more twists and turns left this season.

As a Wire fan it's nice to have to points difference but come the end the rounds I think there will be a clear league leader.

Me too. Just no idea who yet. Wigan (if we start playing like we can, and soon), Warrington or Huddersfield imo.

It means nothing if you lose a couple sunshine, somewhere along the line you'll slip up again and it'll be the same old e on the Warrington board, the world is going to end, Tony Smith out etc etc.

It's a marathon and not a sprint, it's won in October and not early June. A long way to go yet, a long way.

Why the patronising attitude?

At no point did he say we couldn't lose a few games...

And he is right our points difference superiority is more than 'just edging it'

Yes it could mean nothing if we secure less competition points than Wigan between now and the end of the season. But right now it means alot, doesn't it.

Upset are we?

I never said he did, but you all keep banging on about it as though it's all wrapped up and sorted now. Like I said a couple of losses and it'll count for nothing.

And that's a bit rich a Wire fan accusing others of patronising people.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39110.jpg

We have got to this stage without getting out of second gear. IMO we have only played close to our best a few times this season..... first half against saints in Wales, Hudds away, Leeds away in the last 20 mins and Saints at home. Other than that we just havn't needed to get out of second gear in games. There is clearly a lot more to come from us, we are miles away from our peak and we still have players coming back.

In conclusion Warrington are the best team so far this year but I am not sure they will play any better than we have seen. There is loads more to come from us, we will build up to the quarter final of the cup and towards the back end.

Upset ? Er no.

I have not banged on about it being all wrapped up at all, because it is not, is it?

I'm sorry, please show where i have patronised anyone? Or are you saying that in the past you have felt patronised by a wire fan, therefore we all must be even though they have never exhibited such behaviour?

if the league was won in jne warrington would have won it at a canter. wigan apart from a couple of games have been keeping alot in reserve. personally i think they know what they are doing and are under orders to conserve energy

the best season of super league i have seen this year due to the competitiveness and anyone from wigan wire hudds and saints could win ıt. personally finish in the top 4 and your ın with a shout. last year i enjoyed the comfort of not having to chose in club call because it adds undue pressure to the team who have earned club call and thats not needed in the playoffs
