I think we need him back as soon as possible our kicking game is awful. I think we should play him on Friday and drop finch to be honest because I don't think finch is 100 percent match fit.

Not sure about that. I think we need to persist with Finch. There are a lot of glimmers of brilliance there, and he needs the first team games to get over his rustiness and for the rest of the squad to adapt to learn to read his plays. That's not going to happen in the U20s.

A Finch/Deacon halfback pairing is a must.

People can talk about Tomkins to 6 but Roberts has to find some form first. Richards doesn't have the passing skills to be effective within the system we adopt.

Friday is the perfect time to put Roberts at FB. Hull KR don't have their regular kicker in Dobson so he will have easier kicks to deal with.

Was talking to deacon on Saturday and he said he's back for hull kr.

The only new player last year and look what happened. I'm not saying he made all the difference but I think he's our most important player. Look at Hull KR without Dobson. If Deacon had played for England in the 4 nations I think the scoreboards would have been quite different.

I'd want him to play 80 in the reserves before he comes into the first team again. Wouldn't like him and Richards to pull up with injuries in the first half
