It means Billinge is an even nicer place to be. Wigan fans with big smiles on their faces, Saints fans head bowed trying to avoid any contact at all.

Well, I'm sure Madge being the coach would take the philosophical route that it counts for no more points than Celtic or Catalan. But, waking up Monday feeling secure in the knowledge that the daily banter with Saints fans you meet will be much sweeter.

beating saints means you can wake up witha big smile on your face for a whole week leading up to the next game. losing against them is just plain awful and depressing .

There is no better derby in Super League!!!

Whatever league standings are before the derby is irrelevant - the build up always feels like a Grand Final and everyone steps up.

Winning means everything but loosing is heartbreaking

Although still a very pleasurable experience it doesn't mean as much as when i has St Helens fans to gloat to. Living down here i just enjoy seeing Wigan win irrespective of the team we are playing.
