As you know, we're putting on a bit of a display before the game with the new large flags and other banners. We're doing this at the bottom of the South Stand (East side corner). We want to make it as impressive as possible and need helpers to fly the things for a start! A few of us are buying tickets in that lower block. If anyone else wants to join in, give 21-12 or myself a PM and we'll get the tickets together. Alternatively, if you don't want to sit there but are sat elsewhere in the South Stand that night and don't mind lending a hand before kick off then that would be great, let us know. I think we'll need at least 10-15 people involved but we could need more hands if more stuff is ordered or made by then.

We'll be planning the WCC display at a meeting to be arranged next month , probably at the Anvil. Get yerself down if interested in this type of thing.

I would love to help but I will have to see where my dad wants to sit. We normally go in the East.

Fortunately I don't sit in the South, otherwise one or two flags might be inserted somewhere they were not designed for.........

I bet those fireworks before the Manly game were too damn noisy as well........

Now now, there is a world of difference and you know it!

That said there was one game (was it a final at Burnden Park?) where the smoke from the fireworks didn't clear for about 10 mins into the game. Could see Jack **** when the ball was on the opposite side of the field. Should have got a discount!

The flying of the flags is for the five minutes before the teams enter the pitch before each half.

Not much to 'miss' then is there. No doubt we will have the usual grumpy 'put your f**king flag down' remarks though, from't flatcappers behind us though.
