| I really am not sure what to say after yesterdays game, I don't think losing my voice helps though.
After the pain of recent years this season it has just clicked and the staff and squad should be very proud of their efforts, this is also the case for the long suffering fans. Yes the Grand Final has not been played yet but in the context of everything this is my greatest season as a Wigan fan, even though we have had good times in 1998 and 2002 I was much too young to appreciate them but one thing for sure is that I won't be taking this season for granted as we have yearned for a Grand Final place for seven long excruciating years.
A lot of the plaudits have gone to Sam Tomkins and Pat Richards this season but every player can hold their head up high, yes that includes Karl Pryce too.
Nobody will assume that we will beat St Helens next week but I am just going to enjoy the occasion and have a splendid time and hopefully we don't have to wait another seven years for the next one.

| Tomkins has been immense! Wigan have been the best team this year and my gut feeling is the momentum is with you and you will go on to win this. You are a fantastic club and you are back where you belong!
Good luck!!

| hear hear , seven long years in waiting lets just hope that The men in Cherry and White can make the wait worth while
as said I think each and every player who has played in the Jersey this season have done them selves proud , there have been some outstanding performance from certain players and good consistency throughout . some of the youngsters who have come to the fold this season can do nothing but fill you with excitment for the future , they have all played thier part lets hope we can have our cake and eat it so to speak at OT next saturday .

| Well said Nath
Long before last night I said I'd be simply happy to stand at OT and see 13 Cherry&White jerseys emerge from the tunnel
A tear of pride will no doubt be shed!
I'll be as passionate as the next And as gutted as anyone if we don't win it, but the shere pride of seeing us there will be enough for me!

| Get in!
Don't want to start think about next week just yet, but just savour last night. After all the semi-final disappointments I'm happy just to be there (for now). Also we can get that monkey off our back about us bottling big games, we can only get stronger from here IMO. Well done MM, Waney, IL, players and all the staff. We are now officially a side that has achieved more that the Noble era. Bring it on.

| The biggest threat now is that the occasion will get to a relatively inexperienced team. There are lads in the Wigan colours who have played in finals before, but the only one who did this in Cherry and White is Lockers.
There were be a carnival atmosphere in Wigan this week, but hopefully Maguire and Wane will closet the players from it as effectively as they closeted them from all the bickering last week. In 1984, I saw a young Wigan side freeze at Wembley and get whupped by Widnes. But they learned their lesson that year. They never again treated any cup final as a day out, and became past-masters at preparation for these big events. Graham Lowe and John Monie would isolate their teams in hotels for about a week before the big day. Hopefully we'll now be following these lines.

| So pleasing that last night's result should put to bed the silly idea that we can't win big games or that we're bottlers. In reality we've been winning big games all season - the home defeats to Saints and Wire were probably bigger games for our opponents than they were for us, as we'd have buried them in league table terms had we beaten them, and we went away after both of them and backed up with massive results in matches which were equally big from our point of view. Thankfully, last night's result in a do-or-die situation, away to the three-time reigning champions means that everyone else should now be able to see that winning spirit too.
I'm just delighted that we'll be there next week. Whether we win or not, it's still a massive achievement. There's a nagging thought in my head that Saints won't lose four GF's in a row, just as we managed to break our run yesterday after three seasons of falling short at the last hurdle. That's for next weekend though. Bring it on!

| From a Salford Fan, congratulations to Andy Coley and congratulations to Wigan on reaching the Final.
Hopefully, with our team strengthening next year, we can avoid our usual drubbing at the Pie Dome.
Good Luck next week!

| From a Leeds fan, Good Luck, next week.
You outclassed us last night, and have brought some good players through for the England squad, for the 4 Nations (Tomkins brothers), and i'm sure every rugby fan, will be eagerly anticipating next weeks match.

I know exactly what you mean, but things don't always go according to the script.
The ondoing deification of Keiron Cunningham is getting a bit boring, to be honest. My Latics-supporting neighbour informed me last night that Wigan had done well and deserved to get to the final, but that they won't win next week because a Grand Final victory will be the perfect fairy tale ending to Keiron Cunningham's career.
Well ... fairy tale endings are few and far between. I think next week's result will be more about who's got the most talent and who prepares for the game more thoroughly.

| The feeling of being back where we belong has not sunk in yet. We where brilliant last night and if we defend like that we will have no worries next week.
Next saturday is our day!

| We're going to do it. I genuinely feel that. I've been through all the what's, if's and maybe's surrounding the Keiron Cunnigham retirement and 'fairytale ending'. Then again, why can't it be a fairytale ending for Feka and the rest who are leaving?
We can do it next week. We will do it next week. And we'll all be able to say that we were there.

i think that would be the case if it were leeds they were playing but all that out of the window now
as is always said form etc goes out the window for a derby and i think you put there previous losses in with that too
