I have been told from an "impeccable" source that Gaz has been offered a 3 year deal with Penrith Panthers.
The move has been agreed in principle and Gareth is off to Australia shortly to finalise the detail and to sort out his house etc.
Watch this space.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

If it's true then he would be stupid to turn it down.
It will only take a couple more English players to go over before the flood gates open and they take all of our best players.

Assuming he was going to re-join us next year when his ban was over, this is, if true, really dissapointing for us, but I wouldn't blame the lad if he did go.

With the greatest of respect, I'm not sure Gareth has the right personality to adapt to a completely different lifestyle in Australia.

| hes been working for the firm i sub contract to and didnt turn in on friday and this morning when he walked in the guy who runs it asked where he was on friday and he replied "i may aswell tell you ive been sorting out a contract with penrith panthers its a 3 year deal" and at that he walked out  |
