Id agree with that. I think he really likes the club. There something special that IL and MM have done.

Spot on.
He's had a great season. IMO he's had a great four and a half seasons, but he's been judged against his pay packet rather than by his performances by many fans.
His durability is superb, probably missed around ten games in his time at Wigan, and one of them was through the disciplinary.

[quote="Saddened":15kig0eg]Pat Richards is poop. A typical, average, run of the mill NRL outside back. Nothing special at all. Like Barrett he is a myth. He is solid enough, he can catch, he can kick goals.[/quote:15kig0eg]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_7958.jpg |

| If he likes it that much and wants to stay then great, but depends on the contract.

I think that's inevitable for any player, though, in these salary cap days, especially the higher paid players. Value for money has to come into it.
But yeah, I hope he stays, too.

| With him saying that it suggests he has signed a further contract.
He wouldn't be saying it if he was being shown the door, surely?
I'd be happy if he had a 1 + 1 year deal at least.
This time next year our props could well be Fielden, Coley, Lima, Hock, Prescott, O'Carroll & Davies.
With a 2nd row of Hoffman, Joel with Hansen and Mossop alongside Farrell and Tuson with Lockers at loose that is some powerhouse of a pack.
Plenty of size, pace, aggression and skill in there.

I don't think that's [ientirely [/ifair. His form has definitely been better this year and last year compared with the year before that. I think there was some justification for criticism in 2008, albeit certainly not the pathetic booing of him that went on back then.

It hasn't when you look at these.
As I've said he's been very consistent in his time at Wigan

That is a very strong pack indeed with superb strength in depth. Is it wrong to say that I can't wait for next season? I know we've got a great chance in the play-offs this season but I just can't wait for the 2011 season when that pack will take on Saints, Wire and Leeds! Our rivals must be in fear of what is to come next season, this year is just a warm up, in 2011 normal service will be properly resumed! Bring it on!

Why would they fear a pack that consists of Lima, Hoffman and a load of workman like players?
