| Has anything been confirmed about who is out? Would like to see Phelps stay? What about Pryce?

| I think Phelps still has a chance of staying. Injuries seem to have cost him dearly this year. With Roberts struggling there is chance for Phelps to stake a last gasp claim for a contract over the last period of the season.

| rlContract Statusrl
Phil Bailey, George Carmont, Andy Coley, Paul Deacon, Cameron Phelps, Karl Pryce, Mike McIlorum, Paul Prescott, Iafeta Paleaaesina, Stuart Fielden all up at the end of 2010.
Would imagine Bailey, Deacon, Phelps, Feka and maybe one of the other props will be heading for the exits - if Fielden stays on, he'll probably not get as big a contract as he's supposed to be on at the moment. We're also losing Riddell ahead of time as confirmed a couple of weeks back.

| Pryce needs to stay IMO.
We saw last week with Thornley and Marsh that you can't take anything for granted in regards to your juniors. If Pryce wants to stay and we can afford him then he's gotta be signed up.

| I honestly think in addition to the obvious leavers (Phelps, Bailey, Feka, Riddell and Deacon) at least one other forward will go, probably within the front row so one of Coley, Fielden or Prescott. My preference would be Prescott, especially when considering how good Ben Davies is looking.
I would also have thought Tuson might be advised it would be best for his career to go for a regular starting spot elsewhere.

| Out of all the players out of contract I think:
Bailey, Feka & Phelps will definanetly leave.
Deacon to coaching.
Coley will retire allthough i hope he doesnt.
Jury is still out on Pryce & Prescott...
McIlorum & Fielden to get 2 years each.

| Kind of echoing whats been said but..
Bailey, Feka, Phelps, Deacon (coach), Coley or Fielden (not both) Pryce, O'Carroll will go or can go IMO. Think Carmonts extra year shows that we don't have anyone ready to take over at centre just yet and that there isn't anyone of quality available. Despite his so called improvement Pryce has to go and O'Carroll puts in plenty of effort jsut dont think he's got the quality. Coley has improved but is so frustrating giving so many penalities away that if a replacement was avaialble then maybe should be looked at but if Fielden won't reduce his salary by what we want him to then he should go and keep Coley....

Contract wont omatter too much if he goes out on a season long loan or something though. Prescott is another one who is as good now as he ever will be but i dont think thats good enough to keep him. although you can't just get rid of 5 props and a hooker all in one go and expect to replace them all with someone better i guess.

| Confirmed we are losing Riddell. As many have said, we will likely see Bailey Feka leave (possibly to another SL team) and Paul Deacon to coaching role.
Phelps will receive an extra year if he is able to get some game time before the of the season.
Pryce, staying as cover for the wings.
Fielden, will sign for 2 years, and not on as much of a reduced wage as many would like to think.
Coley - will sign for another year.
Prescott will get 2 years.
Carmont- has played enough games this season to warrent a further year.
McIlorum- will get 2 year extension.
Props for next season- Fielden, Coley, Lima, Prescott, O'Carrol, Davies.

| Glad someone has said Prescott should stay.
Props often aren't at their best until they are 25+. He has a few years yet.
Wigan have put a lot of money into developing him and need to see it and him through. O'C is not OOC.
Wigan's props next year, Fielden, Coley, Lima, Prescott, O'C, Davies.
Plus Hock may return in 2011 and probably to prop.
This time next year our four first choice props could be Fielden, Coley, Lima and Hock. That is a formidable line up and if it happens will be our best for some years.
As for who will leave. The favourites have been mentioned.
I don't think too many will go as we've just lost one of our best in Thornley.
Also interesting thus far is that L McCarthy Scarsbrook is the only British player we've been linked to and the smart money is on him going to Saints.
A few juniors will depart as is always the case each end of season.
