| He got a lot of criticism (particularly on some other sites) for his performance in Friday.
I've just seen his stats in the League Express, 39 tackles and no missed tackles. That was only bettered buy O'Loughlin 41 tackles 2 misses. Morley was top for Wire with 34 tackles and 1 miss.
What else the stats show is that Warrington actually kept hold of the ball better than us, 200 carries compared to our 170, although we made 100 more metres than they did.

Are you really going to try and say he had a good game on Friday??
He's had a good season so far and I want to see him resigned but that doesn't mean I have to lie and say he was good on Friday.
If Coley would have played on Firday we would have stood a far better chance of winning IMO. Very rarely is Coley man handled in the same way Stu was. Any prop would have struggled but Coley would have faired better.

| I thought he had a very good game considering he was taken off and to the dressing room by the Doctor early in the first half. I do think he is getting back to his old self and gaining confidence we could do with getting him signed up for another 2 years asap.

No, but he didn't have as poor a game as many slated him for. He was going well until he got that shoulder in the head.

Two handling errors.
Now compare that to England prop Gareth Carvell only 14 tackles two errors and two penalties.

He really needed to step up on Friday and put in a beast of a performance. With Coley out Stu neeeded the kind of individual performance we've seen for Graham this season.
Sadly he's just not good enough to lead the team on his own.

Carvell hasn't played for England since GB disbanded I don't think.

I saw him make at least 4 handling errors however I was smashed in a bar in Rhodes town so I am happy to be corrected.

Hold on, he was up against 2 international props and was expected to handle them himself? Maybe Coley is to blame more than Stu as he was the one banned and not there to back up his team.

| I am a big fan of Fielden and think he has been very good all year, bar the odd game.
However I don't think he helps himself by constantly rubbing the opposition up the wrong way, especially when trying to rub it in when an opponent makes a mistake. I think it makes him even more of a target and also makes him look a bit daft when he comes up with a few errors!
In my opinion he simply needs to focus on his own game because when he's on, he's a huge asset.

I mentioned this in another thread.
It made him look like a t*at basically.
He laughed in Morley's face when Morley knocked on in the first 5 minutes or so.
Then Fielden got knocked about like a rag doll and made handling errors, and got hammered in a lot of tackles.
