I'm not having it that Warrington were better than Wigan. Silverwood ignored their off -side tactics all through the match. How could Anderson have been onside when he hit Hansen about 12 metres from their line. How often do we see teams penalised (Wigan were) on their own line.
On one occassion,Woods was at least 4 metres off-side in the middle of the field.
What about Anderson's knock on near their line. What about Mather's knock on from Tomkin's kick through.

I can't say whether Anderson was offside or not as I didn't have a look but it isn't out of the realms of possibility that he was slightly agitated at the fact you'd been given an extra six on our line for seemingly nothing, and so decided to go full steam and smash Hansen.

Warrington deserved the win, you could tell they wanted it more. They are definately the most dangerous team in the league with play in hand.

What about the forward pass though? Didnt lead to a try but I'm sure they scored off the next few plays?

Warrington WERE better than us. We lacked discipline, composure and killer instinct. We had a good first 20 minutes when Wire looked jittery and couldn't complete their sets. We should have put them to bed then, we didn't, allowed them back in the game and we couldn't match them after that. The ref was poor, granted, but he was poor for both sides as he gave some dubious decisions to Wire also. We lost, face it. Move on. Still 5 more games to go for us to secure top spot, but it really doesn't look good for the playoffs.

Ref's miss many things. I didn't see you mention O'Loughlin's illegal ptb ( Monaghan was penalised for a much cleaner one five minutes before ) that led to Piggy's try. Overall Wire were the better side last night. I'd still say that on what I've seen Wigan have been the best side throughout 2010 to date. Isn't it nice that it's not the usual suspects contesting the title for once, even if that means you have to let Wire into the club?

We'd have needed to have regathered the ball to cross the advantage line as it was Farrell knocked on but he didn't pick it up in the first place. Lucky not to get booted in the head by riley though.
