I have to say that given some of the bitter comments by some personalities in the media and also by some opposition coaches regarding Wigan this season i have been impressed by how Madge has conducted himself, not only when we have won games but also following a defeat like yesterday at Leeds.

I also thought that the coverage by the BBC in the changing rooms both before and after the game yesterday was interesting, Madge looking to place just as much importance on his post match speech as he did in his pre-match talk with the players.....it all looked very measurerd and proffesional.

But does anyone know what Madge was showing to the players (i think it was before the game or could of been at half-time) it looked like some sort of poster?

He did conduct himself very well in his after match interview and took it on the chin without putting the blame on the ref etc.

I think he's done great job so far and looks like wigan have pulled a big coup in getting him to wigan.

He's getting results with the same players noble had, he seems to have brought wigan together as a team and more united, he also seems to give the players confidence and the players seem to respect him very much.

On paper it's not the greatest of teams but he's brought something to the team that noble couldn't but being fair to noble he was very unlucky with injuries.

I will be good to see if MM can take wigan that game further which noble couldn't.

I hope so, it will be gutting if we lose another semi

The competition at the top end is better than it has been for a good few years now, so getting to a final isnt going to be any easier than it was for Noble. I do think the middle/bottom clubs have gone downhill in the last 2-3 years though

I have every faith in MM if we don`t win anything this season (GF I hope before any smart rssses come back with wise cracks) I truely think we will win something next year when he can mould the squad to his ethics(although the boys an`t done to bad upto now apart from Saturdays result).
