| Someone said he got dropped for bad defence, can't say I've noticed it myself. He doesn't make as many tackles as most second rowers but I can't remember him missing tackles either. Maybe they just want him to get involved in defence a bit more, or maybe it's just as simple as rotation.

| Wouldn't say he's out of favour. Possibly a scapegoat for last weerks performance against Quins. Defensively he had a pretty poor game that night. Madge likes to rotate the forwards though and I think we'll see Lee back in the team before too long. We're blessed with plenty of talented back rowers though so he'll have to be patient and train hard

I can remember him missing a tackle against Quins which directly led to a try. He stood there, swung a high arm like he couldn't be bothered making a effort and the player went in for an easy score. I wouldn't blame Maguire if he was dropped for that because it was appalling.
Also his defence is a bit suspect and he has a habit of dropping off tackles, especially if he's been on the field for a while. He does make a huge impact going forward though which makes a big difference.
I think considering Farrell is only 19 so inexperienced, having Bailey in the back row was a better option than Mossop against Huddersfield. Mossop will probably get back in the squad next week as last time he was dropped he came back strong.

| i dont think its a bad thing whilst we have players filling the spot to a good quality!
his 'rest' for a few weeks may just come to benefit us at the useful end of the track!

The good thing about Maguire is that he doesn't appear to carry grudges. Players get dropped for bad performances, but if they do the work in training they seem to back in contention in a couple of weeks or so.

I'd actually forgotten how poor we were conceding that first try from Danny Orr's kick.

| I think his form has dipped since he signed his new contract. Probably just a kick up he backside from Madge and expect to see him in the 17 on Saturday. Competition for places is what we were crying out for under Noble and now we have it.

simpsons/simp049.gif Leeds-Bradford is an airport. Wigan-Saints is a derby!!:simpsons/simp049.gif |

| Mossop imo has had to play more games than he would have if it wasnt for Harrisons injury. This is only really his first full season in the first team, its a big step up to play from under 20s. A little break will do him good

think thats it, he's been looking a little heavy legged late on in games lately, probably just given him a rest now that he's got farrell, bailey and tomkins for second row. back either this week or next no doubt.

| Lee could be back in this weekend.
MM likes to rest forwards and maybe the Widnes game will be Joel or Bails turn.
We are very well off for quality backrowers
