| The right hand side in defence has been truely pathetic in the past couple of weeks. I'm not sure why Gleeson missed out tonight but if he was dropped he could really have no complaints because he was ripped apart by Yere last week at Sheffield but Bailey also had a defensive nightmare in that game and shouldn't have been anywhere near the centre spot tonight. He simply isn't quick enough anymore to play at centre and got shown up at times.
We really could do with Gleeson, Leuluai, Goulding and Coley back for next week and Roberts and Hansen back asap.

| Gleeson picked up an injury in training yesterday but failed to recover in time for todays game.
Lets just say that is from as good a source as is possible.
No rumours, simple facts

| We really missed him, Bailey is miles too slow for centre, if we don't get anyone back for next week we'll have to give a youngster a run instead. I reckon this line up, although inexperienced, would work better:
FB 5 Richards
RW 22 Ainscough
RC 32 Walker/20 Pryce
LC 4 Carmont
LW 27 Marsh
SO 1 Phelps
SH 6 Sam
P 8 Fielden
H 9 Riddell
P 14 Prescott
SR 23 Mossop
SR 12 Joel
LF 13 O'Loughlin
S 15 McIllorum
S 17 Paleaaesina
S 21 O'Carroll
S 25 Farrell
What were people's views on Ainscough tonight? I'm a big fan but thought he was disappointing compared to how he usually plays. Having said that you could argue that he was on a hiding to nothing playing outside Bailey.

| Whats happened to Baileys defence? He's improved a little bit in attack but his defence has gone awful he is slipping off tackles all the time.

No He Wasn't. Bailey was ripped to shreds by Yere.
And we missed him Massively last night, He's been one of our Top 3/4 players almost every week for me this year.

| Where's rogues' ''I told you so!'' comments about bailey?
Call it bagging/getting on his back all you want. Fact is, he was one major differences between winning and losing tonight.

Bailey was poor last night, and was done for pace. However, who was supposed to be defending on his inside?
He was left stranded a few times. I wonder if it was Mossop who had that job, from the comments made after last week when the same thing happened.

I thought Yere gave Gleeson nightmares before he was switched to wing aswell tbh although possibly not as bad as the ones he gave to Bailey.
I agree we need Gleeson back and that he's been a consistant preformer. He's been solid as a rock since he came to the club but I thought last week he dropped a little short of that. It's doesn't take anything away from the fact that he's a miss though and that we simply can't play Bailey at centre.

I thought he did o.k. but didn't get much decent ball. My concern and always has been is his positional play.
When we broke up the right hand side in the second half (when Joel passed the ball to Quins) Ainscough was some twenty metres behind play, Joel had no passing option on his outside. That doesn't excuse Joel, he should've held on just as Stu Fielden also should have a little earlier.
