| Following yesterdays poor defensive showing, madge and Shaun Wane will work the team this week hard on defense.
Looking forward to Friday with over 15000 tickets already sold there will be a good atmosphere for the home team hopefully.
Wigan will win this game but it wont be as easy as the league table suggests with quins hitting form in the last few weeks:
Wigan 36
Quins 14
Att - 16565
Thoughts and predictions?

| I expect a properly professional performance, much like the Hull game after we lost at Bradford. We'll go back to basics and pummel Quins down the middle before throwing it out wide. Pat should be marking Penny, and although Penny seems to have improved some aspects in his game, coming up against the big fella may be a bit of a step too far, look for Paddy to score 3 or 4 if we pepper his side all game.
Considering we're averaging conceding about 8 points or so a game at home, and Harlequins aren't exactly robust in going forward, i'd say we can keep them to a maximum of 1 score.
40-6 to Wigan
Attendance 17,500 [With the 4k from Worthies & Heinz added on]

| Agreed with the professional performance expected, after 2 scrappy wins away, i feel a solid performance and a well deserved win at home is what we need.
I'll go for a 38-10 win to us

| I expect a response.
Saturdays game was the worst performance under Mike MaGuire.
MaGuire out threads if we lose this.

Our last two performances haven't been the best. But I think it's a bit early for even the most hopeful troll to call time on Maguire yet.

| We've not been playing great but we've still been picking up the points which is always a good sign.
I really hope we go back to our basics on Friday. Let's get that fearsome defence working again. If we can shut them out then there is no doubt we will win on Friday.
I'd play Deacon in this game and go for a simple game plan of defending well, playing the teritory game with our kicks and making hard yards up the middle. It was the simple things like this which built our confidence up in the early rounds and myabe it's time to fall back on them?

Playing Deacs and defending well don't seem to go well. His defence at times is laughable.
