I am on Hols in Brisbane (Oz), I went to watch a 1st grade game between Winnum-Manly (Wally Lewis's Club and I think Gene Miles?) play Burley Heights, the score ended up 0-0, the first time in Queensland since 1925, I have been watching RL since 1950 (mainly saints) and can't remember such a score line in England, however I'm sure Rogues Gallery will have something to say!! Hope the derby goes well and may the best team win, (as long as it's Saints). Special mention to Carl Waine, (cousin of Shaun) a good Buddy at Rathbone YTS many years ago.

The last Wigan 0-0 score was 27th January 1974 at home to Castleford. That point actually went a long way to ensuring both clubs avoided relegation at the end of that season.

I can remember from the late 50's, 60's and early 70's some very low scoring matches. A friend of mine who played for Rochdale Hornets, when they beat Wigan on the odd rare occasion, many moons ago, reminded me the score was 4-0.

I was at Wakefield when we beat them 2-0 with a Griffiths' goal.

Yeah Halifax v Hull I think. I remember Des Lynam in the studio afterwards saying 'well that was much ado about nothing' or words to that effect.

In the 74 game Cas dropped a late goal which went through the posts and was disallowed, the crowd reckoned that the ref wanted to be involved in his first scoreless game.
