| Anyone read it? views on it?
I've only just bought it so can't comment on it. Maybe I should ask this after I've read it but thought I would ask if it's well worth a read (motivation to carry on if it''s getting abit boring halfway through )
From the first few pages, it does quite good and I don't often read but I'm actually looking forward to reading this.

| I'm not exactly a bookworm myself but I managed it without finding it boring. Couldn't put it down, it's a brilliant read.

| A very good read.
Particularly interesting was his analysis of the decline of the club. I hope Mr Leneghan listens to Kris because he talks a lot of sense.

| I literally couldn't put it down and managed it in 8 hours.
Some cracking stuff in it, especially the Carney and Connolly antics.

| Excellent read.
Millward's attitude towards Kris was very odd. No wonder the team collapsed under his stewardship.
Recommend it for any Wigan and Rugby League fan.

| Most telling part for me was at the end of his career kids coming into the first team would give cheek to the senior pro's.
Not something Radders would dare to do at the same age
He gives several reasons for this all of which I agree with

| The grammar police say "their" and "routes" - sorry Kris but the publisher needs a kicking.
Past that... A great book written by somebody that I would consider an absolute legend of the club, who went through some very similar injuries to me at the same time, with very different motivations! I remember Rads making the first team and sadly leaving when Rads was a year younger than me while I had watched from the stands. He was and still is, even more since I read the book; an inspiration to how people should live life.
I hope that we can all say "he was a good 'un" when we see him in 10 years.
Rads - Thanks for the memories and thanks for the book, I hope you succeed in RL or whatever you chose to do.

| I've not read the book but for me even though they were really token gesture appearances, the 6 appearances he came back to make in 2006 mean so much more to me than the previous 317 games.
We were dying towards relegation and the man risked his health to try and help us. He struggled in that run and actually made very little impact but the fact he put his hand up to help spoke volumes for the man. You can't buy pride in the shirt like that.
It was a shame though he didn't get to play in either of the last two home games that season in which we battered first Bradford then Hull. Would have been nice to give him a proper send off with Brett Dallas who for me have been our best servants of this decade.

His comments regarding that comeback show just how much he loves the club

Kris explains in the book that he was happy to end his Wigan career on his terms and didn't want any hullabuloo about his retirement. Legend.

He says he's still owed some money from all that, which surprised me.

| Great read. Well writtten which can't always be said for rugby league autombiograhies.
I'm from Wakefield and it was still a good read without being a Wigan fan.
Had respect for him before but has increased my opinion of him after reading that.
