That is a hell of a lot of money, especially for such a young guy who still has so much to prove. Shame about turner, but from what I hear the guy want's to play at loose forward a position he could never get in are team.

Myler is playing behind a beaten pack every week. Not easy to look good under those circumstances. I still think Myler will have an England shirt this autumn. He looked good against the French when he was behind a pack that destroyed the opposition, although his current form is apparently poor.
£300k for a top quality player who'll probably see out his career with them?
Saints paid Wire far more than that for Sculthorpe some time in the last century and he proved a superb buy for them.
There again, it would have been far better if Wire could have produced a half back of their own who's better than Myler and worth far more, just as Wigan have done!
