| sorry if this has already been said but on sat he had maybe his worst game in a wigan shirt
i dont remember him threatening the line except for pre-lulu try the and it was no coincidence that we leaked points when he was on the field. monaghan out of dummy half just ran at him time and time again and once again feka's fitness was found truly wanting.
its not good enough that his fitness is this poor. ive always thought him a great asset to our club and have believed that his go forward is often our platform to victory but now with the likes of mossop and flanagan showing how strong and physically fit they are i think its time to blood a young prop.

| He's been an accident waiting to happen for months now and unfortunatly it happened in our biggest game of the season.
He's let the club down tbh after they stuck by him last year and thats a real shame. I think he's a fine player even at a stone overweight but he looks about 2 stones too heavy at the moment and something needs to be done.
He's wasting his fantastic talents.

| If there was ever a good time for mr motivator to wipe the dust off his trainers, the time is now. Feka needs a good kick up the hoop and get into shape, at the end of the day he's a professional athlete, it's his job to stay fit.

| When Coley leaves the field, our real problems begin.
Fielden and Feka were embarassed by Micheal Monagan who ran at them and created havoc in our defence.

| I'm afraid it's true.
It's time we stopped kidding ourselves about Feka. And I hold my hand up as being one who's hopefully now learned the error of his ways.
I've never been totally delighted with him, but I've commented a lot that I've been reasonably happy with him this year. Well ... any good things he may have done earlier in the season were nullified by his no-show on Saturday. That was a truly pathetic performance. More than anyone else on the team, he was guilty of allowing Warrington to get too far ahead of us to catch them.
As someone else has said, now that we've got Mossop back, Feka needs to be dropped and told that he won't be picked again until he's lost at least a stone, maybe two. The conditioner in charge of him also needs a rocket up the backside.
Feka can be devastating, but only, it seems, when he's got others around him who are prepared to grind the opposition down with hard work. This is a luxury that we can't afford at present. Feka needs to start doing his share of the graft. He's a professional athlete, or supposed to be. There are many of his size who are a lot more involved in gameplay than he is.
Time to get tough with the big guy, or alternatively to start looking at the terms of his contract and investigate whether or not he's in breach of them by refusing to get fit enough to contribute.

As for fielden how many yards does he get every game bet its not over 5 yards a drive he gets put on is @rse soon as he get s the ball. Our props are none existence an were going to struggle every game if we dont bring any new big guns in

Spot on...the bit in bold nailed the situation head on.

im certain he didn't do more than 16 mins because he was responsbile for our leak of points.
in 16 minutes id like to hazard a guess we let in 4 tries? they piggy backed up the field because feka couldnt tackle.

| Not long ago on a thread that was criticising Fielden I was one of the people that defended Fielden and I pointed out on that thread that Feka was a luxury we could only afford due to the defensive presence of Fielden.
It is no coincidence that when Fielden has a poor game defensively by his standards and Feka has to work in defence that he loses his impact value due to being knackered. He is then largely a lame duck for the game due to losing his main asset.
I also posted on the 'what do we need to do to win' thread that we had to make their pack defend to tire them to reduce their impact. This is what they did to us.
Feka is an asset only in attack and cannot attack if having to use his limited stamina to defend. I am glad to see that others are now recognising him as a luxury that we cannot sadly afford. He has had time to get fitter and has not done, I doubt if he ever will. The pack as a whole is hampered by having to cover for Feka and as much as we all appreciate his barging runs I think we could do better without him and he for me is the first prop we need to offload.
Fielden is a shadow of his former self going forward due to having to defend more to cover for Feka. I think if Feka was taken out of the side and Mossop for example (who can both defend and attack in the same game) was utilised alongside Fielden we would see an upturn in the impact going forward made by Fielden as he would have less defending to do. This would help us to stop losing momentum when interchanges are made as happened on Saturday and in games before that. This is at least worth a try for the last few games particularly vs Wire on friday.

| Unless we build a good pack and have him as a true impact player in a better pack he will have to go. Him and Fielden are ruining our forwards wage bill.
