He played for the reserves.

This is the kind of statement that worries me and i hope you do not believe it. He is not worth a shirt at Wigan, although after last night it will be interesting to see the selection next week, as we all know what would happen had Ainscough played like that last night.
Ainscough has his weaknesses but if he were to play he would certainly not be the worst wingman in the league and is certainly a superleague standard player at the moment.

| Ainscough should be out on loan. Wasted in the reserves. To me it's pointless putting players that have had a good first team run back into the team at that level. A good loan spell will do him good. Hopefully they'll send him out for the whole season next year.

| He needs to sort his defence and learn a credible defence against the cross field kick.
If he can do this then we have a very good young winger on our hands.
In attack he is a joy to watch.

Roberts was poor last night but he's been good for a while now, certainly wouldn't drop him for the semi's, way too risky.

Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg |

Forgive me, but these statements seem to contradict each other.

not really, Richards is a top drawer super league player, and Amos has been a very good player for us the last few weeks, fair enough he had a bad game last night but he's been fantastic the last few.
Ainscough would easily get in a team without a backline like ours, i'd like to see him go out on loan, rest of this season and probably next as well.

How?
Ainscough is in the reserves playing at his level. Not good enough for Wigan, probably never will be.

You are forgiven.
Aiscough has proved he is better than a good few wingers running around in SL at the moment including some established ones, so he clearly is Sl standard, he is being kept out of the Wigan team by 2 wingmen up to last night who were in excellent form, although clearly Roberts did not play well last night.

tbh last night proved what ive been saying for weeks.....if anyone needs to go on Loan its Roberts to get up to speed and do him good. Even with his errors on current form Ainscough is easily the second best wing man at the club, and as someone on here has already pointed out..had ainscough had such a shocker as roberts last night hed be in the reserves for the rest of the season, yet roberts as an 'aussie star' will escape!!!!
